Must Have Essential Oils for Stress
- Bergamot - "Bergamot is a plant that produces a type of citrus fruit. Oil taken from the peel of the fruit is used to make medicine. Bergamot oil is sometimes inhaled (used as aromatherapy) to reduce anxiety during radiation treatment."
- Lavender - "a small aromatic evergreen shrub of the mint family, with narrow leaves and bluish-purple flowers. Lavender has been widely used in perfumery and medicine since ancient times. A topical application can soothe the body and mind, relieving anxious thoughts and balancing out mood."
- Lemon - "Lemon oil is calming in nature and therefore helps in removing mental fatigue, exhaustion, dizziness, anxiety, nervousness and nervous tension. It has the ability to refresh the mind by creating a positive mindset and removing negative emotions."
- Geranium Rose - "The impact of geranium on the nervous system is well known and the plant has been used in this way for generations. Derived from its organic compounds and chemicals that positively impact the endocrine system and help to balance hormones that cause stress and anxiety."

Stress Relieving Essential Oil Recipe
Moody Sisters recommend using 5 drops per 1 tsp of carrier oil* for aromatherapy use that you can use as a massage oil or applied to your wrist. You can also add 10 drops into a warm bath. The more of these stress relieving oils you have that you can include in your mix-- the better! Each oil has its own unique benefits.
*We recommend coconut, sunflower, jojoba or almond oil.
