Sunflower Seed Oil

This lightweight, silky soft oil is loaded with vitamins known to support healthy, hydrated skin. Sunflower seed oil contains particularly high levels of vitamin E, which provides protection from the sun and other environmental factors. Besides boosting moisture levels, sunflower seed oil actually helps to strengthen your skin’s outer barrier.

Although its absorption rate is slightly slower, sunflower seed oil won’t cause clogging of the pores. That’s why it’s one of our favorite go-to ingredients for several of our Moody products.

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is sourced from the seed of the Jojoba plant grown in the desert regions of Arizona, California, and Mexico. Jojoba is a liquid wax with a very similar consistency to your skin's own sebum. When applied, your skin registers it as natural moisture and halts the excretion of excess oil. Like others on this list, Jojoba oil is high in vitamins A, B, and E and is antibacterial and antifungal.

This type of oil has an average absorption rate and does not clog pores making it ideal for acne-prone skin types.

Dry Skin Body Butter and Calming Niacinamide Serum are two of our top choices that are rich in avocado oil and other restorative properties.

  4. Evening Primrose Oil - Seeking relief from irritating skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis? Adding evening primrose oil to your tool kit may help. Despite its name, this ultra-hydrating oil is actually derived from a bright yellow wildflower.
